Vienna Chan (aged 9), St Paul’s Convent School (Primary Section)

I would highly recommend the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The author of this book is Roald Dahl.

I recommend it to all of you because it is very interesting.

The story is about a poor little boy named Charlie Bucket who wins a ticket to visit Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory.

My favourite part of this story is when Charlie “wins” Wonka’s chocolate factory.

I was so surprised that Wonka was willing to hand over his entire factory to Charlie.

Charlie’s Grandpa Joe also asks Wonka if he is sure he wants to hand over his enormous factory to the young Charlie. Wonka replied that he is very old and will not be able to handle the factory by himself very soon.

That is why he gave golden tickets to five children and found one child to hand over the factory to.
