Alice Tang Sin-ching (aged 8), St Francis of Assisi’s English Primary School

Do you like Sanrio characters?

I like Cinnamoroll very much. Cinnamoroll is a boy, and he has a girlfriend who is called Chiffon. Cinnamoroll’s favourite food is warm, fresh cinnamon rolls. His girlfriend loves sports. She is an adorable and energetic puppy that resembles a chiffon cake.

I also like Kuromi. She wears a black and purple dress. She is described as a naughty and angry girl, but I disagree. Kuromi is clever in my mind.

Melody is also an honest, good-natured character.

Which character do you like most?

Alvina Hung Wan-ki (aged 8), St Paul’s Convent School (Primary Section)

My family attended a concert called Whispers of Wind and Keys in Tsuen Wan City Hall. It was the closing performance of Hong Kong Arts Festival’s “No Limits 2025”.

It was a very special performance because the pianist, Anson Tang, is a wheelchair user, and the flautist, Ruth Montgomery, is deaf.

I greatly admire the musicians and can learn a lot from them. I hope that when I grow up, I can be as courageous and successful as they are.

Priscilla Zeng (aged 10), Kowloon Junior School

Here are the pros and cons of smartphones.

First of all, smartphones are convenient. You can use them to pay for things. It can be the ideal tool to find entertainment. You can get recommendations based on your location, see reviews and even get discounts.

On the other hand, smartphones also cause problems. Some drivers read texts or emails while driving. All in all, smartphones offer convenience, but they are distractions that may cause health problems.
