This season’s winner is Capricorn, whose real name is Wong Hang-nam from Good Hope School.

After nine creative and challenging rounds, the 12-year-old’s relatable and empathetic writing won over our voters and editors.

Hang-nam is in touch with her classmates, as she showed in Round 5, when she described how the desire to fit in often led to a breakdown in respect among students, resulting in gossip and social exclusion. In Round 8, she expressed a deep desire to communicate with her cat in hopes that understanding the feline language would help her to meet her pet’s needs.

Congratulations to the first and second runners-up: Libra, Cedric Ng Yan-lun from Wah Yan College (Kowloon) and Cancer, Leah Lei Lok-ching from Cognitio College (Kowloon).

We have prepared some exciting prizes for our top three contestants:

  • Winner: Kindle, City’super voucher and a YP certificate

  • First runner-up: Instax camera and a YP certificate

  • Second runner-up: City’super voucher and a YP certificate
