Jerry Huang's pets rarely feel lonely, because they get to go for regular walks.

In Taiwan's Taichung City, Jerry can be seen pushing his latest invention: a goldfish bowl on wheels.

"In the past, people walked their dogs and cats. Now they take their parrots for walks, also snakes and lizards," says Jerry.

"Is there a chance for underwater creatures to explore the land above water?" he asked himself. He soon came up with a solution.

After spending weeks in his workshop, the goldfish trolley was ready. He put it together from spare parts he had lying around.

The weird-looking contraption consists of a large, water-filled cylinder for the fish to swim in, combined with a battery-powered filter and an oxygen system. It is all plonked on a specially built trolley.

"I did a lot of research before I started making this fish tank. It's not a spur-of-the-moment thing. You need to understand fish," Jerry says.

He decided goldfish were the best fish to test this invention, because they are not very frightened of humans.

Jerry believes his goldfish enjoy their outdoor adventures.

"We all have the urge to explore other worlds. That's why we send spaceships to explore the universe," he says. "If I were a goldfish, I would definitely be thrilled if someone invented a way for me to go and explore other worlds."
