A playful goat kept by a family in northwest China has become a celebrity on mainland social media.
The goat's owner, surnamed Huang, allows the 25kg animal to roam freely around his home. Kaochuan the goat is a risk taker and likes to eat or play with everything he sees.
Kaochuan is very naughty around the house, where he often annoys the other pets by pushing the cat out of its basket and headbutting the family dog.
In a video, Kaochuan is seen happily accompanying his owner, no matter where Huang goes or what he is doing.
Huang is trying to weave a straw basket in his courtyard while Kaochuan jumps and runs around, then bumps against Huang a few times. Huang tries to calm him down by kicking him away playfully, but Kaochuan does not give up.
Huang stands up and ties Kaochuan to a wooden chair. When he restarts his weaving work, Kaochuan puts out his tongue and starts to lick Huang's elbow.
Kaochuan also shows a curiosity about everything around him, including a hammer, screws, nails and even the cat, trying to taste and play with each in turn.
"Do you want to eat a screw too?" Huang asks Kaochuan. On hearing this, Kaochuan raises his head and looks at Huang, then gives him a nod.
"OK, go and try," Huang says.
Later, when they pass by some pieces of wood and nails scattered around, Kaochuan tries to eat these as well.
In one scene of the video, the naughty goat is seen nibbling on his owner's T-shirt, eating a big piece of the garment.
In another scene, Huang's wife is using some corn husks to light a fire for cooking a meal. Kaochuan races up to the stove and begins eating the husks.
Many people watching the video are amused by the goat's lively antics.
One person says: "A naughty but adorable goat. Kaochuan definitely grows up in a family with lots of love."
