Police officers in Holland found a barefoot boy in pyjamas standing in the street.
Little did they know, he was actually a hit-and-run driver! A hit-and-run is when a driver causes an accident but drives away.
As the police officers in Utrecht city tried to talk to the four-year-old boy, they got a phone call.
They were told about a nearby hit-and-run accident that had damaged two cars. The officers took the boy with them to the place of the accident.
Then, the boy got inside the crashed car, started the engine and pressed down on the pedal. He knew how to drive!
When the police put the boy on the phone to his mum, "he made noises sounding like a car and gestures like turning a steering wheel", they said.
The police found out the full story later. The boy had woken up when his father went to work, and he took his mum's car keys "to go for a drive."
But he quickly hit a parked car, and stopped. In the future, his mum will keep her car keys well hidden!
