Hong Kong visual artist shares what it's like to work on Marvel movies

Photo: Handout

Delon Ho is one of the youngest Hong Kong visual artists working for Marvel Studios in the United States.

Delon's father wanted his son to study business, but Delon had no interest in it. So he left Hong Kong and flew to the US to build his own career. And now he is a well-known visual artist in Hollywood.

Instead of fighting with his dad about what he would do, Delon proved himself through his work. Now they get on well.

Among the films that he has worked on, Delon says Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is his favourite.

"I found the film was similar to my life story," he says. "It is an honest portrayal of the father-son relationship."
