Children participated in a Soapbox Race at the Kloesterlistutz slope in Bern, Switzerland last month. In this annual event, they race cars they built themselves. These cars do not have motors and are made from wooden soap crates. The race takes place on a track that has straw lined along the sides. The event lasts from Friday to Sunday. It is usually held on the first weekend after the school spring holidays.
