I’d like to recommend the film, The Mitchells vs the Machines. It is a hilarious and amusing movie.
It is about a teen, Katie Mitchell, who is a talented video editor living in a futuristic society. When Katie is accepted to famous film school, she can’t wait to arrive for orientation week. Instead of taking a flight, her father insists on a family road trip to bring Katie to university. But during their trip, they discover that robots are taking over the world!
The courageous family cleverly evades the robots and even gains two robotic friends! They are the last hope for humankind.
The Mitchells need to work together to defeat their enemies, but they keep quarrelling. Will they succeed in their noble quest, or will they become the robots’ captives?
This wholesome film reminds us to put family first and encourages us to follow our dreams.
