Vienna Chan Yin-yu (aged 8), St Paul’s Convent School (Primary Section)
I spent my summer in Taiwan. It was my first time travelling on a plane after the Covid-19 pandemic. During this holiday, my favourite place to visit was the Fly Cow Ranch. There, I fed many different animals, such as ducklings, lambs and baby cows. The baby cows were strong enough to pull the milk bottle out of my hands! I also got to milk the cows. I also enjoyed eating milk hotpot and making milk ice cream. They were really yummy. I enjoyed the trip with my family.

Grace Lui (aged 9), Sacred Heart Canossian School Private Section
I love animals, especially smart and cute ones. I asked my mum if I could have a pet, but she said: “You and your brother are already two naughty animals.”
Every day, I study at home and school – it is a cycle between going to school and doing homework. I usually have trouble with my Chinese lessons. I am sure that if my mum allows me to have a pet, my days will be much more fun!

Everyone gets nervous before an exam. So how can we overcome our fears?
First, you have to adjust yourself. Be calm and cheerful as you face your challenges. Then, create a study plan, and follow it so that you can achieve your exam goals. After that, start studying. Be patient and concentrate when you are doing your work.
Lastly, think positively so that you can face your challenges. Life will always have difficulties. But exams are just a tiny stone in front of you, so don’t be too upset if you do not get good marks.
