My recommendation is The Land of Stories: An Author’s Odyssey by Chris Colfer. This is the fifth book in The Land of Stories series, and it is my favourite one.

In this book, the main characters, Alex and Conner Bailey, use the portal potion to travel into Conner’s short stories and gather an army of heroes to fight an army of literature’s greatest villains and stop them from invading the fairy-tale world.

My favourite part is when they travel into the story The Ziblings, which is about superheroes. The story made Alex realise that even though she had discouraged her brother so much over the years, Conner still supported her. I felt touched when Alex apologised to Conner for not being more supportive of him.

This book is interesting no matter how many times I read it. It taught me that I shouldn’t discourage others, because it can make them feel very hurt. It also made me realise that imagination is the most powerful weapon. It is also very relatable because I write stories. I would give anything to be in Conner’s shoes.

I recommend you read this book. I really hope you will enjoy it as much as I did and want to read the rest of the series.
