I like football very much, whether it’s representing my school at a game or watching it.
Recently, my team and I played in the U11 boys’ interschool league and lost miserably. After the game, my teammates were very sad, but our coach said failure can be a teachable moment. Still, learning from our mistakes is hard because we don’t like to lose.
But we can learn from our failures, use them to reflect on ourselves and develop our team spirit. Don’t be afraid of losing. There will be another game soon, and I hope our team can win.

Hong Kong’s “pay as you throw” scheme will begin on August 1.
The government is launching this programme because our landfills are overflowing. We should stop wasting food at restaurants and at home. This system can increase recycling rates by charging people for the cost of managing their waste.
Recycling takes effort and costs money, but I still support it. Do you want our landfills to overflow? If you don’t, try recycling food waste and rubbish with me!

In March, I travelled to Taipei with my mum. There, I learned about Taiwan’s history and the valuable items that were transported there. I also visited the Memorial Hall, where I saw a statue of the first president of Taiwan.
I visited the night market and zoo. The night market had a lot of food to choose from, as well as many games to play. The food inside the zoo was also cheap.
I felt bad for the animals being kept there, especially a zebra in the wrong area with the giraffes. I don’t think animals should be kept in zoos.
