Last month, I learned about the ancient Greeks. It was one of my favourite topics this year. My teachers hosted a Greek Day, during which we dressed up and ate Greek food.
We learned about their myths featuring gods and goddesses. We also heard about battles like the Peloponnesian War.
The ancient Greeks had some smart people like Socrates, Aristotle and Homer.
Greek life was different for boys and girls. Boys went to school, while girls usually stayed at home.

If I had a magic skateboard, I would go on holiday without paying for the flight tickets. I could fly around the world and spread awareness about global warming.
In addition, I would go to the library whenever I wanted to borrow books. I could also sleep and wake up late because my magic skateboard would take me to school quickly.
If my magic skateboard could carry two people, I would take my best friend Ruby and find a tree to make a treehouse.

McDonald’s Happy Meals seem like a fun treat for kids. But have you ever thought about how McDonald’s gets us excited for its food?
The toys that come with the meals are always based on the coolest movies and shows. The commercials make you desperately want to collect the toys.
But in reality, they are cheap plastic toys that lose their appeal quickly. McDonald’s uses them as a bait to make young children beg their parents for their greasy and unhealthy food.
Don’t be influenced – think for yourself!
