Once upon a time, a fearsome beast lived in a faraway land. All the citizens of the land lived in fear of its temper.

One morning, he woke up on the wrong side of his cave, so he roared! The roar was so deafening that it rang through the whole land, and in an instant, the once-flourishing land turned into an eerie dark forest. Everyone fell asleep, and a thin layer of fog covered the forest.

Rescuers from another kingdom dared not enter the forest to break the spell, as they’d have to get past the beast. Finally, a knight in shining armour came by and decided to wrestle the beast. He walked in front of the beast and yelled at it.

The beast roared and charged at the knight. The knight jumped away and ducked behind a tree, trying to find the beast’s weakness. The beast sliced with its claws, trying to charge towards him. Suddenly, a thought struck the knight – the beast’s body was too big to change direction easily!

So the knight skidded through the beast’s legs and got past the gate which led towards the forest. After he got past the gate, he sent his glistening sword flying towards the beast’s back, and the beast died, breaking the enchantment. The brave knight became the hero of the land, and the citizens, now free from the beast’s terror, celebrated their new-found peace.
