Once, there was a boy named Max who loved robots.

He had a big collection of all kinds of robot toys, but his favourite was a little blue robot named Zippy.

Zippy could dance, tell jokes, and even make pancakes. One day, Max had a super-duper idea. “Let’s have a robot race!” he shouted.

Max invited all his friends to join. They brought their robots, and soon, the park was buzzing with excitement.

Some robots could jump, others could roll and one could even fly.

Max set up a big track with cones and flags, and everyone was ready to go.

“On your marks, get set, go!” Max yelled, and all the robots zoomed off.

Zippy was a little slow initially but didn’t give up. He danced his way around the cones, making everyone laugh.

“Look at Zippy go!” shouted Max. As the race continued, a sneaky robot named Sparky tried to cheat by using rocket boosters. But Zippy had a secret. He could make a super-duper pancake to make everyone happy. So, Zippy whipped up his pancake while racing, and the smell was so delicious that all the other robots stopped to eat.

While they were munching, Zippy kept moving slowly but surely. He danced and flipped; before anyone knew it, Zippy crossed the finish line first!

Max jumped up and down with joy, shouting: “Zippy, you did it!”

Everyone cheered for Zippy, and even Sparky admitted, “OK, that was awesome!”

They all celebrated with pancakes and ice cream.

Max learned that winning wasn’t everything; having fun with friends was the best part of the day.

From then on, they raced every weekend, making new memories together.
