In a vast, enchanted valley full of glittering lakes and lush, green forests, there lived a dragon named Zarek.
But unlike the fierce and majestic dragons of legend, Zarek was small and covered in scales that shimmered an unusual shade of pale pink. His wings were tattered, and his tail was shorter than most. All of this made him the target of bullying.
Every afternoon, the other dragons would take playful flights over the valley. But when Zarek attempted to join them, the other dragons would mock his looks.
“Look at the little pink lizard!” they would jeer, their laughter echoing off the mountain peaks. Zarek’s heart would sink at their cruel words. Feeling lonely and out of place, he began retreating to a hidden cave.
Then one day, during a powerful storm, a ferocious tribe of trolls invaded the valley. Their power and might threatened Zarek’s home.
Instead of uniting against their common threat, the larger dragons argued among themselves.
Although he was fragile and frightened, Zarek knew he had to do something. He took a deep breath, summoning all his courage, and soared into the sky, despite his size.
As the trolls stormed through the valley, Zarek spotted an opening. He unleashed a powerful burst of fire, brighter than any flame the trolls had ever seen.
They were stunned, and the other dragons realised Zarek’s bravery and joined in the fight. Together, all of the dragons drove the trolls away.
From that day on, the dragons saw beyond Zarek’s appearance and recognised the strength within him. Zarek became a beloved hero in the valley, proving that true beauty is from the heart. His laughter fills the sky, replacing the sound of hurtful jeers with songs of friendship and acceptance.
