Let’s start from the beginning. David Walliams was born David Williams on August 20, 1971, in London, England. His dad was an engineer and his mum was a lab technician. After graduating from the University of Bristol, he worked with comedian Matt Lucas. Together, they wrote and starred in a comedy sketch show called Little Britain. Walliams collaborated with Lucas again for the television series Come Fly With Me.
David Walliams published his very first book, a comedic children’s novel called The Boy in the Dress, in 2008. Over the years, he has raised millions of dollars and donated to multiple charities around the world.
