Every night, Danny and his sister Arielle would dream of going on an adventure.
One day, they were reading a book when they suddenly entered the story.
Danny said, “I think we are lost.”
Arielle asked, “What are we going to do?”
“I see a river. Maybe we can catch fish to eat,” Danny said.
After they got some fish to eat, they went to sleep.
When they woke up, they saw a bridge they hadn’t seen the day before, so they went to stand on it. Some snakes came onto the bridge, and it was scary. Danny told Arielle to dive into the river. They went in, but there was a pack of hungry crocodiles. Just when the crocodiles were about to eat them, some cows swam into the river too. The crocodiles ate the cows instead.
Danny and Arielle felt very lucky when they reached the other side of the river. They were hungry, so they caught a turkey. It was getting dark, and they went to sleep.
When the siblings woke up, they saw that a mysterious path had appeared.
They followed the path and walked until they reached the end. They were thirsty and hungry, so they drank water from the river and caught a fish to eat.
It was getting dark, and they went to sleep. When they woke up, they saw a ship they hadn’t seen the previous day.
They went on the ship and sailed away. Then, Danny saw an island and sailed towards it. The ship touched the sand.
When the siblings got off, they saw a book, and they went to read it. Suddenly, they returned to their world.
Danny said to Arielle: “Our wish came true – we went on an adventure!”
“And it was even better than our dreams!” said Arielle.
