I learned about dinosaurs at the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre.
Palaeontologists found dinosaur bones on Port Island in 2024. That was the first dinosaur discovered in Hong Kong. They discovered 30 rocks containing the fossils of an adult dinosaur. Scientists don’t know the name of the dinosaur yet. They think it could be a sauropod or an ornithischian.
I would highly recommend going to the exhibit. Joining a tour is a good choice because the guide can tell you the story of dinosaurs. I am looking forward to finding out the dinosaur’s name and how they put together its bones.

From scary mummies to splendid houses, my Singapore trip had it all! The colourful Peranakan houses with intricate engravings were beautiful.
My favourite part of the trip was Universal Studios, and the most memorable ride was “The Mummy’s Revenge”, where a mummy told us our horrible fate! It was scary but so fun.
At a botanical park, we walked on a giant cempedak fruit and caught a glimpse of a Komodo dragon that fell from a tree. On the last day, we played a flight simulation and ate a delicious meal with black pepper crab.
I love Singapore and can’t wait to go back again.

This year, I am in Grade Three. Next year, I will be in Grade Four.
My friends and I have been chosen to be student mentors, and I am so excited. This is because I like to help teachers and the younger pupils.
When we become student mentors, we will have a party every month with lots of snacks and gifts organised by the teachers. It is very tough, but I am sure I can do it.
I will work hard and focus in class to set a good example for others. I can’t wait!
