My family and I went to Victoria Park to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival. We went to admire the lanterns. What a wonderful sight!
The weather felt as hot as an oven. When the lights turned on, everyone picked up their cameras and cheered for the breathtaking beauty.
The walkway was full of lanterns from different countries. We moved quickly because it was very crowded. I liked the Vietnamese silk lanterns the most. They were shaped like teardrops.
We also found a robot sleeping on a chair. It was waiting to perform!

Recently, there was a disaster in Nepal that was caused by glaciers from the high mountains plunging into the Lhende Khola River.
It also caused a landslide and floods that destroyed everything in their way.
Scientists discovered it was not an earthquake but warming, mainly because of climate change. Global warming is melting glaciers. Rising sea levels will cause more floods.
We, humans, caused climate change. We need to help the world. We should recycle, reuse, reduce and refuse. If everyone makes a little change, the world will become a better place.

I went to Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom this summer and enjoyed my time there a lot! The marine-themed resort has amusement rides, a water park and even a circus show!
I saw many animals, including penguins, belugas, polar bears, killer whales and Chinese white dolphins. It was a lot of fun. My family and I did not have enough time to do and see everything.
