Best Letter
Athena Wu Chi-kiu from Pope Paul VI College won Best Letter this month for her submission that emphasised the urgency of implementing food waste recycling in Hong Kong.
Chloe Chan Man-kwan from Valtorta College wrote a compelling letter to address school bullying, highlighting how educational institutions need to do more to ensure that students feel safe and welcome on campus.
Best Face Off
Anson Ng from St Mary’s Canossian College has bagged the title for best debater with her arguments for content warnings at the beginning of books, movies and TV shows. She argues that they are key to informing individuals about sensitive material.
Best Insight
Jason Lui Kwan-lung from King’s College won best insight for his submission to The Lens with his thoughts on how Taylor Swift should not be any country’s long-term plan to boost the economy.
Most Creative
Harris Leung Ho-fung from Po Leung Kuk Tang Yuk Tien College shared the silliest mistake he ever made when his friend texted him, saying he left his phone at his house. It was only when he rushed back to retrieve the phone that he realised it was just a prank.
Most Engaged School
Pope Paul VI College made a number of submissions to our Your Voice and Top 10 pages, sharing thoughts about topics like recent Google searches and redevelopment in public housing estates. Thank you!
Winners will receive a certificate and a special YP notebook to encourage them in their writing journeys. We will contact the students about their prizes.
