A painting by the famous artist Piet Mondrian may have been hanging upside-down for 77 years – without anyone noticing!
But it cannot be put the right way up now, because it would damage the fragile 80-year-old artwork.
Art expert Susanne Meyer-Buser thought something was wrong with the geometric-style artwork when she found an old photo from 1944 where it "was the other way around on an easel".
But it was displayed upside-down at New York's Museum of Modern Art and it has stayed that way ever since. It was not helped by the fact that the painting has no signature, says Susanne.
