In Ganzhou city in Jiangxi, hot weather has dried up two rivers. This has revealed an array of ancient relics.
Treasure hunters with metal detectors and spades are flocking to the riverbeds of the Zhang and Gong rivers. They are in search of antiques from centuries ago.
They are using a variety of tools, with some finding ancient coins, gold ingots and ceramics. "This is from the Song dynasty," shouts a man holding an ingot.
The army of fortune-seekers has grown so big that the authorities have issued a warning, telling them that treasure hunting is illegal. They urged residents to hand over anything they had found to the government.
