A man in China who operates a dog shelter celebrated his wedding alongside his beloved rescued dogs, bringing joy to many on social media.
Back in 2020, Yang resolved to dedicate his life to ensuring that dogs receive the love and care they deserve.
With his own savings, Yang began rescuing stray dogs and eventually established a modest shelter that initially housed 10 dogs.
In 2022, a university student known as Zhao joined the shelter as a volunteer. She generously donated her entire part-time earnings to assist Yang in purchasing dog food.
As they spent time together, their feelings blossomed quietly.
After three years together, the couple decided to marry, choosing the dog shelter as the venue for their wedding.
Volunteers rolled out a red sheet in place of a carpet to create an aisle within the shelter, flanked by cages housing dogs on either side.
On May 25, the couple arrived in formal wedding attire, holding hands as they entered the shelter, with over 200 dogs lining the path. More than 300 volunteers gathered to join in the celebration.
