A 102-year-old woman in eastern China has won hearts online with her optimistic attitude and unique lifestyle.

Jin Baoling is from a rural area in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, where fellow villagers call her “Old Baby”.

According to the Taizhou Evening News, Jin is mentally sharp and physically healthy – she has not even visited a hospital in the past 50 years.

Jin needs help walking, but her eyes remain sharp, and her hands are nimble. She often mends socks and shoe soles.

Jin’s breakfast includes dumplings, buns or wontons, and lunch and dinner usually consist of noodles or rice.

Pig trotters are a must for her. This Chinese delicacy, rich in collagen, is believed to benefit skin and is often used in traditional Chinese medicine.

Her son, Hu Huamei, attributes her good health to her optimistic attitude.

“She has never argued with anyone, and she forgets about troubles as soon as they arise,” Hu said.
