Last month, my school had our first CTA day, which stands for “Care Think Act”, our school motto. This day is very special to us because it is a dedicated day to give back to the community.
We had an eventful day planting a vertical garden, visiting the Changing Young Lives Foundation, donating small gifts to those in need, and picking up trash in our community. We picked up so many cigarette butts from the sewage, plastic wrappers behind bushes and much more.
Once we got back to our campus, we were rewarded with a family picnic and ice lollies – what a fun and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
I felt exhausted from working so hard on a sunny day, but it was worth it. I felt satisfied because I had done helpful tasks with my classmates and my family.
