Youssef Jira, a student, has big ambitions in his home country of Libya, in north Africa.
He wants to encourage other young people to use technology to help modernise their war-torn country.
Youssef is one of a group of young tech fans who took part in a robotics competition in the capital city, Tripoli.
The participants worked together at the school gym where the competition took place. Around 20 teams took part. Fans cheered on their teams.
The robots were small wheeled machines. They made jerky movements as they moved around the gym.
But the event organiser, Mohammed Zayed, says this project will help to open new horizons for young Libyans.
