Corals are sea animals that stay in one place throughout their adult lives. They live in big groups called “reefs”. Coral reefs provide food and shelter for other sea animals. But many coral reefs around the world are dying because of the planet’s rising temperature.

Scientists are trying to save these animals. They have found a special type of coral that can survive in warmer temperatures. They live in the Red Sea near the country of Egypt, but scientists hope they can also grow in different places where other corals have died.

It is important for us to protect coral reefs because many fish and plants depend on them.
