Difficulty: Explorer (Level 1)
Recently, people have become more passionate about the ideas they believe in. They want to stand up for the people, animals and causes that need change.
Some people are becoming vegan to protect animals. Vegans do not eat meat or foods containing things that come from an animal, such as milk or eggs. They believe in better treatment for animals.
Many are also fighting to protect the Earth. They want people to stop creating so much rubbish and using products that warm the planet.
This is related to climate change. It is why the summers in Hong Kong are getting hotter and longer. This is also why typhoons are becoming more dangerous in many places.
These are just a few examples. There are many other groups of activists who work for what they believe in. They prove that no matter who you are, you can be a part of global change.
