Kiwi Kan Wai-kiu (Aged 11), Dr Catherine F Woo Memorial School

I love sports, especially the long jump. I train in running and long jump two times a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. I also take part in long jump races. My best result so far is 4.06m. I watch how professional athletes jump and learn from them. I love the athlete Ivana Vuleta from Serbia because she has won many races and jumps very far. I want to be an athlete like her, and I hope I can attend the Olympic Games when I grow up.

I visited an art exhibition and joined a drawing workshop in a building called V54 in Happy Valley. V54 is operated by the Po Leung Kuk charity and is dedicated to promoting community youth arts services.

I was amazed by the historic, white, French-style building. There were beautiful designs and decorations inside the house. I enjoyed drawing flowers and butterflies, and I hope I will go there again in the future.

Last month, China’s football team lost to Korea in a qualifier match.

I think that the Korean team did well. I noticed they passed the ball a lot, which is very important because it can create an easier way to head towards the goal. China’s team, however, didn’t chase down the ball. Also, they should pass more quickly by surveying the people near them, before deciding who to pass to.

Overall, the match was pretty awesome.
