Sarah Lee Tsoi-lam (Primary Four), Sacred Heart Canossian School Private Section

Let me tell you a little bit about myself: my favourite colour is purple, and I like unicorns. When I have free time, I like to draw pictures of unicorns – with a purple background, of course.

My school picnic is coming up, and I want to go cycling at the picnic because all of my friends can ride a bicycle. I will bring snacks and food to share.

I recently went to Japan for the first time. On the plane, I watched the buildings become very small, just like my Legos. I could also feel a jolt when the aeroplane took off.

I love Japanese hot springs. I could splash hot water with my family when I soaked in the hot springs. It was great! We also got to feed safari animals. We fed biscuits to bears, meat to lions, carrots to elephants, and green pellets to camels, deer and sheep.

My favourite food in Japan was the yummiest ice cream I ever tasted! I want to visit again very soon.

The 10-day Lunar New Year holiday is over. Lunar New Year is really fun. We returned to mainland China to celebrate the holiday. We visited many relatives, ate a lot of traditional food and watched fireworks. But the most important thing is that we received a lot of red packets. We are looking forward to next year!
