The story follows a troubled kid named Percy Jackson. At the start of the first book, he goes on a field trip to a history museum, where he gets in trouble for pranking a girl.
His teacher becomes a monstrous devil and tries to kill Percy! Luckily, Percy is saved by a centaur. He then starts to discover mysteries in his life that he didn‘t know about. He learns that his dad is the mighty Greek god Poseidon and that he is a demigod himself.
Reading this series is like going on adventures with Percy, as you learn these shocking facts at the same time as him.
