I recommend reading a series called The World’s Worst. In each book, there are about 10 stories, and all of them are different even if they are on the same topic.
My favourite one from this series is The World’s Worst Monsters because the monsters are pretty creative. For example, there is a wolfwere which is the opposite of a werewolf. The wolfwere is a wolf except when there is a full moon and he changes into a boy.
I also liked the story about the Loch Ness monster. Two boys named Angus and Donald create the Loch Ness monster doll, which they call Nessie. On a magical night, Angus’ little sister Rose – who uses sign language since she cannot talk – goes out to try and spot the Loch Ness monster. Angus thinks Rose will never spot one, but because Rose believes in the Loch Ness monster, it finally appears in front of her!
