Christmas is the loveliest festival of the year. I love hanging shiny ornaments on the big tree with my family.
We have a movie night with hot cocoa on Christmas Eve, hoping Santa is on his way.
The most exciting moment was unwrapping my presents, wondering what I got. When I finally opened them, I was so happy to see what I had wanted! I know a present is not just about having more stuff - a gift from the heart is enough.
The spirit of the season is full of love and care. We sing carols together and help make dinner for the homeless shelter. I feel so warm and fuzzy inside.

I am writing to express my concern about the flood of disinformation in the virtual world.
Without verification, you might share fake news with others, and AI technology can make this issue worse.
Try this test: First, check the time the article was posted and see if it was recently posted. Then, make sure the website and author are reputable and verified. Finally, check if the post is subjective or objective.
We should shield ourselves from being duped by misinformation. We should all foster the skills to check information. Let’s embrace our inner detective!

Karin Lau Chin-yu (aged 11), Pui Ching Primary School
I like playing different sports, such as badminton, swimming, and table tennis. I am on the school table tennis team.
I train for many hours and often participate in competitions. Sometimes, I lose a game, but I never give up.
If I could spread one message to everyone in Hong Kong, I would say, “If you love a sport or a musical instrument, don’t give up. Always practise it. One day, you’ll become a great athlete or a wonderful musician.”
