I recommend the book Wings of Fire: The Brightest Night by Tui T. Sutherland. It’s about a dragon called Sunny and her friends Clay, Tsunami, Glory, and Starflight.
They are the dragonets of destiny, and many dragons believe they will prevent a great war from happening after Queen Oasis’s death. They were stolen as eggs from their families and raised by an association called the Talons of Peace to fulfil the prophecy.
Sometime after the dragonets escaped, Sunny – a SandWing dragon – was kidnapped by the NightWings. Thankfully, she escaped and returned to the Kingdom of Sand, home at last.
On her journey, she found her mother, Thorn, and her father, Stonemover, as well as a prophecy-fulfilling plan that helped Sunny and her friends end the war. Head to the library and check out this book!
