Vittoria Serafino (aged 6), International Montessori School

My favourite animal is the koala because they are cute and fluffy and love climbing like me. And most of all, they love mummy cuddle time – like me!

Now, let’s talk about their habitats and food because they are different from many other animals. They live in Australia, and they eat eucalyptus leaves. They sleep 20 hours a day.

I really want a koala for a pet, but as you can see, it is hard to keep one. What about you – what is your favourite animal?

Recently, my classmates and I went to a barbecue. After that, we played football. It was really exciting.

We started barbecuing with a cheer. It got boring after an hour, so we started being mischievous. My friend put some fish balls in the fire. It burst out of the flames, and he almost caught on fire! I stopped him from the craziness.

Then, we played football together. It was fun. I caught ten shots from my friends. I was glad my team won the game.

Nowadays, video games are popular among kids. However, they can cause problems.

Before video games were invented, young people played outside with their friends; they ran through the streets and had healthy bodies. Now, everyone sits on the couch and plays video games.

The blue light from the devices can harm your eyes. Most importantly, it can affect your studies!

If you spend too much time playing video games, you will forget what your books are about, and you won’t know what to do on exams.
