I went to a STEM competition in December, and it was super fun.
More than 400 children participated in the competition. The goal was to build the fastest and most fantastic car.
For the first round, we went to the hall. Our car had to push a ball about the size of a tennis ball.
We had to move our car from one end to another in the fastest time possible for the second round.
Then, it was time for the awards ceremony. I am glad that I got a certificate. I hope others will participate next year and have a great time.

Do you ever wonder why earthquakes happen?
Pieces of rock make up the Earth’s crust. These pieces drift on the hot, runny rock beneath.
Sometimes, two pieces push against each other and shake the ground hard during an earthquake.
The Richter scale is a logarithmic scale that registers the magnitude of an earthquake. 2.5 magnitude is the lowest, which cannot be felt.
Earthquakes cause a lot of destruction, but with education and learning from past experiences, we can learn how to protect ourselves.

I recommend watching the South China Morning Post YouTube channel.
You can watch news from different countries like the USA and South Korea. You can watch the newest news from other countries like the SpaceX Starship exploding on its test flight or the temporary TikTok shutdown in the USA.
The most recent video I enjoyed watching was about the US Supreme Court upholding the TikTok sell-or-ban law. TikTok is a social media platform for creating, sharing and discovering short videos.
