Kelly Cheung Ching-yin (aged 7), Good Hope Primary School Cum Kindergarten

My favourite animal is my pet dog, Ah-mo. She is a funny dog. Ah-mo’s fur is grey and white. She has lovely eyes and a triangle-shaped nose.

One day, Ah-mo had three baby girls: Sophia, Isabelle and Ava. The babies are now two years old. The most exciting part is that the babies are starting to have the same colour fur as Ah-mo.

Do you have a pet dog? If you have one, please share stories with me. I would love to hear about your dog.

Schools should not let students wear their own uniforms instead of the compulsory school uniform because they can be more comfortable.

If we wear our school uniform, we won’t compare ourselves to each other and decide who is the best or worst.

Let’s wear our school uniforms so that we won’t become a person who discriminates against others based on their clothing.

Hailey Shing Yik-hey (aged 10), Kowloon Junior School

My favourite subject in school is English writing. I learn various techniques to improve my writing and get feedback from my peers and sometimes my teacher.

One of my hobbies is reading, which teaches me new ideas and interesting vocabulary.

I particularly enjoy reading historical and nonfiction books because I learn new things. I also love fantasy and fiction, which inspire me to create my own fictional stories.

Another hobby is playing netball. I enjoy being part of the team and participating in interschool competitions. The teamwork and strategy involved in the game make it enjoyable.
