Children love playing with lanterns during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Every year, my family and I celebrate by visiting Sha Tin Park. I am 10 years old, so the lantern I took with me was my 10th. The lanterns looked like mini “moons” that were gleaming, hanging lights under the full, round moon in the sky. It was an enjoyable occasion.
The “Moon Festival” is special to me; it’s a time for families to come together and spend a happy night together. It is the night with the roundest and brightest moon of the year, which symbolises “unity” in Chinese tradition.

My favourite subject in school is art because art can help us learn. There are many types of art, and anything can be art. Music is art and maths is art! I learned that art has meaning. Art is a way to express your feelings and who you are.
I also went to South Korea this summer and it was so fun! We went to Lotte World in Seoul, which has lots of fun rides. We ate a lot of Korean food. Mmm, so delicious!

My favourite animals are cats. They are cute, fluffy and sometimes lazy too! Although I don’t have any pets, based on my experience in pet shops, cats can scratch people with their claws. So I guess if I want to keep them, I need to be careful too.
