My friends constantly talk about the online game Fortnite. Last summer, I went home and asked my mum if I could download it, but her immediate answer was “No, wait until you are 13!”

So how did I have fun last summer?

I mastered the Rubik’s Cube, a 3D puzzle invented in 1974 by Erno Rubik.

Here is a poem I wrote about this fun toy.

Twist and turn, it’s a memory game

All sides are the same

Make a daisy – that’s the first guess

Layer by layer until it’s not a mess

It’s way easier than a game of chess
