William Wong Ka-yiu (Aged 12), Pentecostal School

Playing Rubik’s Cube is my hobby. It is fun and interesting. When I was small, I would see my brother playing Rubik’s Cube, so I asked him to let me try it. Then, I learned various skills and algorithms to solve it. Now, I can solve it in seven seconds. While playing Rubik’s Cube, I feel relaxed and have a great sense of achievement. People always think Rubik’s Cube is difficult to solve, but it is not. It is easy to learn on Google and YouTube. However, if you want a better cube, you need to buy a pricey one for around HK$100 to HK$600.

Joanna Li Yui-nga (aged 11), Dr Catherine F. Memorial School

The cutest pet we ever had was a chinchilla named Ebony. She is very cute, with big black ears, big insect eyes, a small face, and dark fur. My favourite memory is how our cat would come up to the cage and run along the edge. It was like a game for the two animals, because Ebony would run with her. Then they would smell each other’s faces and whisper to each other. Seeing a kitten and a chinchilla playing with each other is so cute. They were not afraid of each other and didn’t try to hurt each other. They were best friends. I want to have more pets in the future.

Starry Or Hoi-ching (aged 9), Sacred Heart Canossian School Private Section

I joined the pottery class at school this year and it is fun! Everyone in the pottery class was playing with mud. We all made a cat plate, mine is white with pink eyes. The teacher even took a photo of the 3 groups, each group has 5 people. We all have fun in every lessons.

My favourite lesson so far was when we put transparent paint on our cute cat plate. It was so fun! Now I put my plate in a box.

You should try pottery, it is really enjoyable and fun.
