Leung Ho-hin (Primary Four), CCC Kei Wai Primary School (Ma Wan)

On March 21, I joined the Amity Foundation’s Walk for Living Water Charity Walkathon and Carnival. It was really hard. I had to carry a wooden stick across my shoulders with a bucket on each end. Each bucket had two big bottles of water. It was tiring to walk with buckets on my shoulders. They became very sore, but I didn’t stop. I tried my best to finish with my mum and my classmates.

This activity made me think about people who need to carry water every day. They have to walk a long distance just to get clean water. I am lucky because I can get clean water easily in Hong Kong. This made me feel thankful for what I have.

Last summer, I went to Canada with my family. My grandma and grandpa live in Vancouver, so we went to visit them. When we were in Toronto, we went on a cruise to see Niagara Falls. We were wet by the time the boat returned to shore. We also drove to Calgary. There was a mall named CrossIron Mills. Our trip was amazing!

My favourite colour is blue. Why do I like blue? Because it reminds me of the serene view of lakes and reflects the stunning background behind me.

It also reminds me of the endless sky, with seagulls soaring above the deep sea. Blue is the calmest colour to me. What is your favourite colour?
