This morning, I packed my bag for school, picked up my phone and went out the door. But when I arrived at school, I realised that I had not brought my pencil case!
I became nervous.
Then, suddenly, I saw a pencil case on the floor, walking towards me.
It started talking. “Why did you forget to bring me?” it asked.
I couldn’t believe my eyes – or ears! Why was it talking to me?
I picked it up and told it to stop talking, but it wouldn’t listen. I put it on the floor and tried to ignore it. Big mistake. My pencil case started crying. Then, it ran away and never came back.
Now, I always make sure to bring my pencil case. I never know when it might run away again!
