[3] By the O
This brand’s mantra is “better coffee, better life”. Its third outlet has just opened its doors in To Kwa Wan. The new location is colourful and cosy, with mismatched furniture and bits of greenery to make guests feel like they are in someone’s living room. Hearty breakfast platters, slabs of French toast and a hand-drip coffee menu keep the locals in the neighbourhood happy.

[4] Eato
This Japanese-style cafe in Central specialises in toast and coffee, but the creations are far more complex than they may seem. The toast is made with thick, fluffy shokupan (Japanese milk bread). It comes in different variations, including one slathered with thick black sesame, candied walnuts and dango (glutinous rice balls). Apart from classic coffee options, customers can also opt for drinks such as creamy coconut lattes and sparkling teas.

[5] Brisa
If you love mocha or feel like going all in on chocolate, then Brisa is the spot to try. A self-proclaimed cacao cafe specialising in single-origin coffees by day and cocktails at night, the venue also offers a chocolate tasting board and a whipped chocolate dessert.
Shop No 301A, 3/F, Lee Garden One, 33 Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay
[6] Blossom
