Folks in the US state of Pennsylvania are eager to pay to take photos with animals or flowers – all for social media.
Lauren Steinmetz, of Steinmetz Family Farm, brought her goats to a “snuggling station” at a farm show, where customers cuddled with the animals and snapped pictures. She said: “People come through, stay about five minutes, and say it was the best part of the show.”
Sunflower fields – used for mazes, festivals and photo opportunities – are also trending on social media.
At Jen Brodsky’s farm, visitors can even pay to pick their own sunflowers.
But too much of any trend can be problematic: in the US state of Wyoming, officials warned people to stop trespassing on sunflower farms.
