Hot days during the summer can certainly be difficult for our bodies. But did you know they can test our tempers too? 

"Heat can affect our emotions and how we behave towards other people," says Ken Fung, a psychologist.

Many places are battling record-breaking high temperatures, including Hong Kong.

Humidity, alongside heat, plays a part in making us feel crankier than usual too, says Ken. The combination of these two things can bring out the worst in us.

If you are already stressed, walking in the heat can spoil your mood.

Ken says prevention is the best cure. If you feel that the heat is getting to you, stay under the shade or go indoors.
