Difficulty: Explorer (Level 1)
Exam season is stressful – not just for you but also for your friends, family and teachers. That is why it is important to keep everyone relaxed and in a good mood.
While you should prioritise studying, you have to take care of your mental and physical health, too. You must strike a balance between work and play – otherwise you may overwork yourself and burn out.
The best way to keep stress away is by relaxing. You could go for a calming walk in nature, play a board game with your family, watch your favourite television show or get some exercise. Here are some ideas to get you started.
Make an at-home face mask
Materials
-
½ teaspoon of turmeric powder
-
1 tablespoon of honey
-
half an avocado
-
water
-
gloves
-
cucumber slices (optional)
Instructions
-
Ask an adult to slice an avocado in half for you. Then, beat one half in a bowl until it is smooth and creamy.
-
Add turmeric and honey to your mixture. Then, add enough water to make a sticky paste.
-
Put on gloves and apply the mask on your face with your hands. Try not to make a mess.
-
If you want, put cucumber slices on your eyes.
-
Now it is time to relax. Leave the face maskon for three minutes. Then, rinse it off with water.
