Difficulty: Explorer (Level 1)
Before you take your exams, it is normal to feel a mix of emotions. Some students may feel confident. Others might feel nervous.
Colours can help us understand and express how we feel. Just like our emotions, colours can be bright, strong or calm. When we connect colours with our feelings, we can find ways to balance our emotions when we feel stress.
Find the colour for your emotion
Colours can represent different emotions. Think about how each shade makes you feel. There are no right or wrong answers.
In each section of the colour wheel, write the emotion word that you think best represents that feeling. Use the list we made or add your own words. Talk to your friends and family to see if you have the same choices.

Instructions
-
Fold a piece of paper in half. Choose one emotion that represents how others see you.

On one side of the paper, draw how you think others see you. Use the colour that matches the emotion you chose in Step 1.
-
On the other side, draw how you really feel inside. Pick an emotion and colour that matches your inner self.
-
When you finish, reflect on your art. What kinds of emotions do you feel more strongly during exams? What are the differences between your inner and outer selves? Have you ever shown your inner self to other people?
