Some people made a difference through strong leadership, while others used their creativity. Their stories teach us important lessons about courage, change and helping others.
They show us that one person’s actions – no matter how small they may seem – can make a big impact.
Part 1: Build a historical profile
For these activities, you’re going to become a time adventurer!
Choose one important person from the 1900s. Find out who they were, what they did and why people remember them today. Find the answers to the following questions.

Part 2: Send a secret message
Well done, time adventurer! You’ve finished your research and found your historical figure.
Now, your job is to send a secret letter to this person from the year 2026.
Imagine they will get your message just before something important happens in their life. Make sure your message doesn’t change history.
Instead, you can encourage them, remind them of their values, or give advice to help them stay true to their goals. Fill in the blanks to create the message.
