Anson Wong Chun-hei (aged 9), Yaumati Catholic Primary School

Our class needed to draw a picture of The Starry Night, painted by Vincent van Gogh.

The picture was extremely beautiful, but it was hard to replicate. We used oil pastels to do it. I think the hardest part was drawing the little houses, while the cypress tree was the easiest. The stars were hard to draw, too!

After drafting the picture, we needed to paint it. Some details were hard to paint, so I used a thin brush. At last, I was done. I was over the moon!

Davis Yau (Primary 2), Po Leung Kuk Grandmont Primary School

I would like to tell you about my routine. On Mondays, I need to go to school, so I get up at 6am. I brush my teeth and have breakfast. Usually, I have ham and cheese sandwiches and drink a cup of milk.

Then I walk to school at 7am. I play basketball in the playground every day before class. Then I have a few lessons: English, Chinese and physical education. I have noodles and chicken soup for lunch.

After school, I do my homework and watch TV. I shower before dinner, read and go to bed at 9pm. What’s your routine like?

Cheung Chun-hei (aged 11), HKMLC Ming Tao Primary School

I never thought I would plan my future career this early, but here I am writing about what I want to be when I grow up.

If I am fortunate enough, I would like to become a pilot because I want to fly from one place to another and take a lot of passengers along with me on the plane. I am also interested in aeroplanes. If you show me a picture of a plane, I can immediately name it. To become a pilot in the future, I am going to study hard.
